SHERIFF'S HELICOPTER/AIRPLANE MECHANIC Sheriff's Helicopter/Airplane Mechanics are responsible for maintaining and repairing airframes, engines, and other components of helicopters and airplanes owned and operated by the Sheriff's Department. Additionally, they are responsible for driving fuel tankers trucks for the purpose of refueling remote aircraft in the field.
